Anonymous asked: This is a great blog! I've had my Divacup for about a year, and it is so great! I wanted to share something funny that my mom told me when I was a teen. Well, mom always bought me pads for a few years, but I had heavy periods, and felt like they were really bulky because I needed the big ones. One day I asked my mom if I could try tampons. She cried and told me that I had obviously lost my virginity, because I wanted to stick things in my vagina. Haha. My mom is a bit crazy.
Thank-you for your story! Mum’s are indeed a little bit crazy sometimes!
Do you still think that the menstrual cup is too big?
The menstrual cup is the same length as a tampon but when it’s open is much wider. As you see, once folded, is very similar, so it’s insertion is easy. Especially because it is made of medical grade silicone, which slides, like a tampon with applicator.
If you want to know how to fold the cup this way, we made a video for you: http://youtu.be/IbODOLg44qU
WHY WOULD YOU USE THIS!! WHYYYY
Uhhh, because they’re amazing?
